Eliza Speight

Rear Admiral Eliza Speight was a PNPC often used by the crew of the USS Archimedes when they visited PNPC Starbase 50.

She bears a striking resemblance to the actress Candice Bergen. At the tail end of her 50's she can sometimes be described as a very eccentric woman - she accepted transfer of Commander Spork based solely on his amusing name. She has a fondness for Commander Nathan Geiger who served under her on the USS Hercules when she was a lowly Captain and he a lowly Lieutenant Junior Grade.

Her Starfleet career started in the Tactical department before moving onto Intelligence. Her record is spotty but this did not halt her movement up the command track. She has also been involved in some covert operations and has a finger in Temporal Investigations.

Eliza comes from a large family and has an obscenely impressive number of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. While she has been married a grand total of six times she has never had children of her own. Something she secretly regrets.

Eliza can often be found seeing to the running of her starbase in her other office, O'Malley's Bar with a glass of vodka in hand.

After the events of Flight of the Valkyries Eliza is sadly no longer the woman we knew and loved. The psychotic holographic scientist, Doctor Luton Powell used his special machine to download his consciousness into her body. His intent was to return to human form and wreak havoc across the galaxy. He was of course stopped but Eliza has been left comatose. Best case scenario is that she wakes up and has to learn how to talk, walk, and live again. Until she wakes up though, we won't know her fate. What we do know is she is gone.
