2384: With Commodore Geiger away on stress leave the Archimedes is left in the hands of Commander Spork from Starbase 50. While most of the crew are running drills day and night a science away team are studying the ruins of a small civilisation. All that is left is their crumbling temple and markings depicting something they used to worship before they seemed to quickly die off. Lulled into a false sense of security the team do not realise that what killed off the natives has turned it's attention to them and they've unwittingly brought it back to the Archie with them...
