Risa, also known as "the pleasure planet," is an M-Class planet known for its beautiful beaches, top-class resorts, and the incomparable hospitality and very open sexuality of the local population.
Interactions with Archimedes
- The crew of the Archimedes took some well-earned shoreleave at Risa, only to have their ship stolen and its skeleton crew kidnapped, leaving them marooned in Paradise. (I'm Too Sexy For My Shirt)
- While many of the officers join Commodore Nathan Geiger and leave Risa aboard a stolen Wallace Class in hot pursuit of the also-stolen Archimedes (Flight of the Valkyries), the rest of the crew continues to enjoy their shoreleave on Risa, most of them oblivious to the situation.
