Rowan is a good height and has a muscular build. He is better than average looking. He didn’t grow into his body until he was 20, and before that he was lanky. His green eyes convey deepness, and his smile can warm a cold heart.

Personality

Rowan is a kind and generous man. He is rather intelligent, but doesn’t show off. He is very friendly. He loves his work and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. He isn’t very competitive and enjoys a nice quiet night in. He does have his adventurous side, though it rarely comes out. Rowan tends to delve himself into his work which makes him a workaholic. He has a habit of rushing head first into things before thinking things over. He will get really excited about something and then just can’t wait. This has caused trouble in his past. Also, when he thinks he is right he can be the most stubborn person.

History

Rowan spent the majority of his childhood in Reading, England. His parents were both professors and taught at the local university. He had no brothers or sisters and few friends. His parents moved to Sydney, Australia and a new job before Rowan started his first year of high school. He started high school as a gawky, lanky, nerdy boy. He didn’t fit in well, though he excelled academically. The one great thing about high school was a girl named Rebecca. She was popular and beautiful. He quickly realized this was a bad thing. The girl he had a crush on had no idea he even existed. He made it through high school finishing at the top of the class.

Even though his parents taught at Sydney University, Rowan decided he didn’t want to go to school there. He was accepted to Cambridge University and accepted. He finished in the top of the class. From there he moved from university to institute. He has worked and studied in the most prestigious places in federation space. While in University he finally came into himself. He became confident and self assured.

Rowan’s new found confidence had caused him some problems in his work. Because he is so sure of himself he has on more than one occasion acted without proper authorization. This discipline problem has landed him on a nova class ship instead of somewhere more fitting his intelligence.
