2386: Commander Nathan Geiger has decided that he is not properly equipped to look after a child, nor is Archimedes a safe place for one. This does not go down well with his crew but they grudgingly accept it is his choice to make. Archimedes is gifted with transporting eight marines to a training facility near Betazed, as an excuse for Archimedes to be in the area (to dump the kid). However things go bad when it is suddenly revealed to the crew of Archimedes that the marines are fakes and in a spectacular display, kidnap Harry Geiger.
